Divorcing Themselves The vice presidential candidates were asked point blank whether or not they supported gay marriage. Both Biden and Palin were quite strong in their statements opposing it, while both were for something to the effect of "civil equality" whatever the hell that means. Palin was quite clear that although she strongly believes marriage should remain defined as with a man/woman, she was equally strong about being for tolerance of differing lifestyles. I frankly don't care. Gay marriage is a state issue and marriage in itself has so many flaws, it's hardly on the list of important issues, whereas who can handle the current war, regardless of who's fault it is, is the top priority, along with who can shake things up in Washington, sifting out special interests. An interesting note to consider, is that the McCain campaign does not have the special interest funding like the extremely well funded Obama campaign does. Think about this. McCain does have a very strong record of weeding out special interests and pork barrels. The big O does not. The O basically is running a special interest catering company! In conclusion, I would hope that you and all gays could find that g-spot where you are able to get a divorce from being stuck on the need to find any candidate that supports gay marriage. Happy voting for Sara McPalin, a vote that's fresh & bubbly, like enjoying champagne or sparkling natural mineral water under the moon lit sky with your best friend, lover, husband, or whomever you enjoy.
